I had to post about a couple funny things the boys have said. During family home evening we always have someone bear their testimony after the lesson is given. Lately, the boys have been saying things like:
Bradley- "I know that Santa is real and that he'll bring me lots of presents, even though no one has seen him because he lives at the North Pole."
Connor- "I know that Santa is true, and I know that Baby Jesus is cute."
I guess I am not focusing enough of the true meaning of Christmas. Ha ha ha . . .
They have been asking me the whole holiday season about how Santa will get in our house. We have no chimney! They also want to know how the reindeer fly and how it all works. I just give this standard answer, "No one really knows because no one has ever seen him."
Here is a link to a cute story about teaching kids some of the symbols of Christmas. We did it for family home evening on Monday night. It was very productive because we had each item for the boys to look at and possibly eat.
Although, Bradley's answer to pretty much every question was, "Eternal families!" My sister was saying he's just getting prepared to give good Sunday School answers.
We are so excited that Wes is going to be home in just a couple days! Yahoo!
Oh, and here's one more reminder- if you want a Christmas card, send me a message with your address! Thanks!

I highly recommend the book "I believe in Santa Claus." If you haven't already heard of it, it does a great job of showing how Santa is a symbol of Jesus Christ. It has a list of other symbols with their meanings and some scriptural references as well.
Trisha Dee, first off I just have to say how very very proud I am of you. You are so amazing. You have the best attitude, I don't think I have heard you complain not once about how hard your situation is, just the opposite, you talk about how blessed you are. Most women in your situation with their husbands being away in the military like to have little pity parties instead you have embraced your roll and have been so good. Most women would complain about having to shovel the snow, not you Trisha you say "it was fun, a good workout." So cute. You are a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, NEICE. I love you so so so much. Please keep blogging it is what i look forward to. Thank you. Love you tons and tons and tons.
