Graduation Day!

Just looking through the pictures from Bradley's graduation makes me all emotional! I cannot believe how fast he is growing up.
He really enjoyed his time at preschool. It was such an emotional thing for me when he started. I was not expecting him to go from being at home all day with me to spending all day - 8:30 to 3:30 - with his teachers.
I think it was so good for him though. He had great teachers who were so willing to work with him. He was way far ahead of all the other kids so they had to modify some of their lesson plans and everything, but they did a great job of not making him not feel left out. In fact, they even had him switch which group he was in so he could help some of the younger kids progress. He loved that.
Ok, so I have a gazillion pictures from this event. For some reason they wouldn't let us hold the graduation at the school so we had it at a pizza place. All the boys enjoyed pretending to play the video games. Sorry, the lighting is terrible, but oh well!
The theme was obviously Hawaiian. Connor enjoyed dressing up.
Halley got a little bored waiting for our pizza and for the program to start!

The kids lined up outside and then "walked" to the classic graduation song. It was cute to see all their smiling faces. After they got up on their stage they were supposed to perform a little Hawaiian hula thing, but most of the kids got really shy and wouldn't do anything.
Bradley was all set to go when the music started, but then he realized no one else was doing anything so he got super shy.

Then they passed out the diplomas. Bradley also got a special acheivement award for being such a good reader. We are so proud of him. His teachers kept telling us that they have never seen anyone be able to read like him at such a young age. Here is a cute picture of Bradley and one of his best friends, Leilani. She invited him to her birthday party, and he instantly thought she was cooler than all the other kids!
And here are Bradley's wonderful teachers! Miss Teresa, Miss Sonja and Miss Luci all took such good care of him. Thank goodness for wonderful people who are willing to invest so much time and love into education for children! We will truly miss them!

Connor and Halley Chillin'

These were taken a little while before we left for Bradley's preschool graduation, but I have way too many of the actual graduation to put them all in the same post. Halley and Connor decided it'd be fun to hang out in the laundry basket for awhile. They had lots of fun.
We were waiting for Wes to get home, and they wanted to show off some fun faces and share some love!
It is so weird having Bradley home now. I think Halley is missing out on time with Connor. Bradley and Connor play together all the time, and I think she gets ignored a little. I have been trying to encourage them to play with her, but I think they feel like it's more fun to jump on their beds and play "Superman" than it is to play with dolls and stuff!

She's Got the Moves!

This girl loves to dance, and she is very serious about it. This video totally shows how excited and intense she is about music!

Seriously, it is Super Crazy at Our House!

This is a video we were trying to take of Halley laughing. She discovered our eyelashes on this day, and she was touching them and laughing hysterically. Well, it turned out to be a video of how absolutely insane it is just before bedtime at our house!

Smile Halley!

I put Halley's hair in little piggy-tails a bit ago, and when I decided to take some pictures, she decided to show off. I cannot believe how long her hair is getting! I have to clip her hair in the front, but she still looks adorable! Yet again, there are so many cute ones, I have to post a ton!
She is hanging out underneath the desk. That is one of her favorite places to sit and "chill," even when no one is at the computer. She was making the cutest faces. She does this whenever we tell her to, "Smile!"

Just a Little More of the Craziness!

These boys are so funny! You gotta love the way they changed the "ABC's" to "Funky Town." They love both those songs. He he he . . .

Absolute Craziness

It all started out with the boys wanting to dance to their new favorite CD, Enya. Halley was dancing all cute standing up at the couch so I ran to get the camera. Well, I took about 8 videos of her, but none of them worked. We did, however, get some crazy funny pictures. Here is Bradley with his blue bear. He wanted to pose with all his stuffed animals!
Here is Halley desperately trying to put her sock on!
It was a fun night with all sorts of laughing and silliness. We even put Connor's hair in a ponytail. I have to admit though, I was a little worried. He did not want me to take it out. He thought he looked so good. I am sure he was just enjoying all the attention though.

These two stuffed animals, "Rabby" and "Sheepy", respectively, are the boys' favorite stuffed animals to dance and play with. They got them for Easter a few years ago, and I think they are some of their best friends! Here is crazy Connor. I can't even remember what he was doing.
And this was a tender moment to end the craziness with. Bradley can pretty much read anything now. He sat down this night and wanted to follow along in the scriptures while Wes read for our family scripture study. He does that every once in awhile now, and I love it! We went to storytime at the library today, and a whole bunch of the moms were fascinated by the fact that he can read. It made me proud. :)
I am really proud of all three of our kids. They are so special and wonderful!

The Princess, the Monster and the Cat

My sister sent these cute bracelets to Halley a few weeks ago. She loves playing with them. Here are a couple pictures of the princess accessorizing! Her hair looks like this all the time because she is always pulling out all the cute ponytails I put in her hair. Grrrrr . . .
This little girl is really funny. She has figured out how to tell us she wants something on.
I can't really describe it, but she'll bring us a bracelet or clothes or socks and kind of say, "On, on, on," but in baby talk. It's more like, "Awwwn, awwwwn." It's dang cute!

And here are a few of the boys after a super fun bbq birthday party involving a fairy godmother who did face painting! Bradley didn't want us to take a picture of his monster face! This party was Bradley's first "school friend" birthday party, and they were super nice and let us all hang out and have fun. They had a bounce house and everything! Connor, the cat, didn't have a nap because of the party. We let the boys watch a movie while we got ready for our next bbq (yah, two in one day!), and Connor fell asleep.
Here he is trying to wake up.

Fish and Friends

Connor, Halley and I went to the aquarium with some of our good friends a few weeks ago and had a blast. The kids really enjoyed all the exhibits, and they had so much fun together. We are really going to miss all our friends out here. I got a lot of pictures of Halley. I think that's because she was the only one who would hold still long enough! :)

This is McKinnley. She is an adorable little girl that the boys just love to play with!
These pictures are from the wave room. The older kids loved this, but Halley was holding onto me pretty tight every time the wave washed over us!!
The end of our trip to the aquarium was a little tense. We pushed it a little too far. The kids were all tired and hungry. In fact, it was almost time for me to go get Bradley. So, I bought some lunch for the kids, we ate in the car, and then I went for a little drive to let them get at least some nap. Here they are in the car eating french fries!
Side note: Bradley is out of school now, and we are SOOOOO excited to have him home with us. I always feel bad when we go do stuff like this without him. Don't worry there will be a post of all Bradley's cute preschool "graduation" pictures. And, I am sure we'll be making another trip to the aquarium soon.
