Anyway, I just wanted to brag about our little readers. In most homes, if there is silence, it is almost a guarantee something naughty is going on. In our house, this is what I usually find:
I have always been a big fan of reading, and I want my kids to love books as much as I do. From what I have observed so far, they are well on their way! It just makes me smile. :)
And here is another activity the boys did today. My dad sent us home with a big box of macaroni and cheese, and the boys decided to build a tower. I was laughing so hard while trying to take this picture. I kept telling them to hold still AND look at me so I could get a picture, but well, this is what happened.
I sure do love these boys. I cannot believe how much they have grown up lately. When we first got out here they were having such a hard time with things. They seemed to just be really having a hard time adjusting. They both seem to be doing better now. They play better together and are much more willing to help out with things around the house. It has been a great blessing. Our house is feeling so much more like a happy home. If only we had Wes here . . .

Yay for a new post! Your kids are getting so big. Where has the time gone. Anyway, that is fantastic about the reading. Stuart and I feel the same way. The only problem is that although Spencer can read, he doesn't always want to.
Hope you are doing OK without Wes. That is the hardest thing - having them gone for so long. Good luck!
your CD is coming never fear! If only I could remember to give it to you when you are here...
I love those kidos too Trisha Dee and I am going to miss you all SOOO much! I'm glad to see everything is settling down a bit :)
It's good to see that your family has settled in the new house. I can't believe your daughter is getting so big. Time sure flies by fast.
Trisha Dee you are amazing!! I am so proud of you. YOu are such a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister and niece. Thank you for making time to blog. I know that you are here now but I still so enjoy getting to see you updates while I am at work. Your a doll. I love you and Wes and your children sooo much. Love Auntie Brenda
*tears* I miss you Trisha, and I almost cried when I read the last sentence. I'm not sure if it was just sympathetic emotions or if it was me dreading the future. Or a little of both. I miss Russ already and he's not even going to be gone for another 6 months! Yikes. Anyway, we need to hang out when we come up for Thanksgiving. No ifs ands or buts about it. We're not going to be in UT officially until next fall, so I want to get as much Power time as I can - ha ha, I have to "power up" - okay... enough of the corny jokes. I miss you. :(
