We got a cute little cake from Albertson's for Halley's birthday. At first she was a little skeptical about things, but eventually she was LOVIN' it!

The end result - a destroyed cake and a messy, tired baby girl!

she did good. and i'm glad you let her make a mess. i don't like it when one-yr olds aren't allowed to make a mess of their cake. really, that's the only time it's ever encouraged. the yellow frosting almost looks like mustard, hehe.
How cute! I'm totally buying Gabriel a cake like that when he turns one!
one year old--so monumentous, gosh it went fast. i think next year she's ready for trifle--hehe
Funny side story - this little cake was supposed to be free with the purchase of a bigger cake. Well, when Wes went through the self checkout line he scanned the wrong bar code. By the time he got back it was too close to time for the party to start, so we got a big sheet cake for the price of this little one - $5.99. I'm not sure if that is cool or totally wrong and dishonest! :)
