Cute Quotes from the Kiddos

So, I have been meaning to blog every night for the past couple weeks, but Wes keeps getting all his homework and studying done during the day so I have been hanging out with him at night! I'm not complaining, I love spending time with him, but now I'm behind!
Anyway, so I wanted to dedicate this post to my cute kids. They say the cutest things! I'll be posting sporadic pictures throughout just to make this a little more exciting!
- The other day the boys were worrying about my nightlight running out of batteries. Bradley says, "Maybe we need to get some "good"eries for it. That might work." Ha ha ha . . .
-Connor found the measuring tape and wanted to see how tall Daddy is - apparently Wes is 30 months old tall. :) Here's a great picture of him fixing our bathroom sink. We can call maintenance for that stuff, but he insisted on doing it himself! It got fixed so I won't complain!
-We were talking the other day about the fact that the little black part of our eyes is called the pupil. Well, the next day Connor asked me what the white part is called. I actually have no idea, and I told him that. He said, "Maybe it's called the eye seasoning." I have no clue where he got that from!!
-"WE NEED HAIRCUTS!!!" This was a couple weeks ago. They look much better now.I am so glad that Wes is willing to cut their hair. He does a great job.
-The other day while I was making dinner, the boys were actually playing by themselves, and nicely! They were playing the super hero game and, for the first time ever, they were on the same team!
Connor was Spiderman, and his job was to trap the bad guys in his web. Then Bradley had to come and punch them, get this, "all the way to Lafrica." Yes, that's right. Take that you bad guys! You are off to LAFRICA!! This cute brother picture was taken when we went to see the butterflies in Pacific Grove.
-Some of Connor's jammie pants are too big so I usually have to fix them for him by rolling them up. The other night, he came running in, "Look Mom, I fixed my own jammie pants!!" These are obviously not the ones that are too big. In fact, they should probably go into the box of too small clothes!
-We have figured out a new way to make our grocery shopping experiences more enjoyable. Since Halley sits in the shopping cart now, we get a spaceship cart and Halley and one boy sit in the cart. The boy in the cart gets to check off the groceries on the list. The other boy gets to walk with Mommy or Daddy and help get the groceries. You wouldn't believe how much happier all of us are since we've been doing this!! Well, after the first time we tried that, when we were putting the boys to bed, Bradley says to Wes, "Dad, when I was carrying the stuff at the store, it made me feel like I was a big boy in Kindergarten." It just melted our hearts. Sometimes I think we forget how much they want to help because we are so busy worrying about getting things done faster. I'm glad we discovered this new trick.
-And, last, but not least, here's a video of Halley's latest form of communication!
